David Field,
President & CEO

| David
A. Field is our President and CEO. Prior
to joining Applied Solar, LLC, Mr. Field
was a senior executive at Clark Security
Products, the largest independent vertically
integrated security distribution company
in North America from January 2005 to
August 2006. Previously, he founded and
managed several companies in the energy
sector. In June 2001, Mr. Field founded
and was chief executive officer of Clarus
Energy Partners, a leading Distributed
Generation developer, owner and operator
that was acquired by Hunt Power in early
2004. Prior to Clarus Energy, Mr. Field
co-founded Omaha-based Kiewit Fuels,
a renewable energy company specializing
in the development of biofuels production.
In addition to a career in sustainable
energy development, he also has an extensive
background in water technology and infrastructure
development, with companies such as;
Bechtel, Peter Kiewit, and Poseidon Resources,
as well as in corporate finance with
Citicorp. Mr. Field holds a MBA from
the Garvin School of International Management
(Thunderbird).

Anand Janaswamy, Chief Development Officer

| Mr. Janaswamy joined the Applied Solar's team in early 2009 and brings with him over 15 of experience in semiconductors and power electronics design and holds 3 patents in the area of High Voltage Integrated Circuits. Prior to Applied Solar, Mr. Janaswamy was with Maxim Integrated Products. As a Product Development Leader and Principal Member of Technical Staff, he developed pioneering products in new semiconductor technologies for the automotive, display, computing and communication device markets. Mr. Janaswamy was also responsible for recruiting and managing staff and in training them on technical and business related issues.
Prior to Maxim, Mr. Janaswamy held R&D positions with Philips Electronics and NCR Corporation. He brings a high level of expertise in market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and growth segments and in the definition of next generation products. Mr. Janaswamy holds a BS in electrical engineering from National Institute of Technology, India; a MS in electrical engineering from Clemson University and a MBA from USC's Marshall School of Business.

David Trepeck,
Vice President of Solar Solutions

H. Trepeck comes to Applied Solar with
over twenty years of business development
experience, both in the commercial and
residential markets. He has an extensive
background in the construction industry,
where he was a developer/general contractor
for over fifteen years on a wide variety
of complex construction projects for
his own developments as well as those
of his clients. Throughout his career,
Mr. Trepeck has developed a number
of highly successful businesses which
include cinemas, ice skating facilities
and custom flat panel video distribution
companies. Prior to beginning with
Applied Solar, David founded Uptown
Theatres, which became the highest
grossing theatre chain per seat in
the country. In addition to his theatre
developments, David was a pioneer in
the e-commerce business, where he was
a leader in the sale and distribution
of flat panel television systems via
the internet. He is a University of
Michigan graduate where he received
his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy
and Economics.

Alan Whiting,
Senior Vice President Finance

| Mr. Whiting
brings over twenty years of financial
management experience to Applied Solar.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Whiting
served as a financial advisor to several
start-up companies in the technology
and energy sectors. Previously, he was
Vice President of Finance with Clarus
Energy Partners, a leading developer,
owner and operator of distributed generation
projects in California, where he focused
on project development, structuring and
finance. Prior to Clarus Energy, Mr.
Whiting co-founded and served as Chief
Financial Officer of a logistics management
firm, a business travel application service
provider, and Omaha-based Kiewit Fuels,
a biofuels technology and development
company. He also served in various commercial
banking, real estate finance and workout
positions as Corporate Vice President
with Citicorp. Mr. Whiting holds a Bachelors
Degree in Business from the University
of Wisconsin.
